Team Saraii in Sri Lanka

Team Saraii arrived in Sri Lanka on the 4th of June 2011. Expectations were high to accomplish as much as possible during the time frame available to us. The plan is to travel around Sri Lanka visiting similar locations and understanding how eco tourism works in the country...

Team starts traveling from Colombo, the cosmopolitan to the more rural and culturally rich areas of Sri Lanka. Wilgamuwa, Sigiriya, Polonnaruwa, Anuradhapura, Kalpitiya, Bandulla, Ella, Nuwara Eliya, Kandy, Tricomalee, Arugam Bay, Weerawila are some of the areas that will be visited... These locations cover most of island, especially the East which was occupied by terrorist organizations and was a restricted zone for over 30 years.
